Introducing a community-informed approach to transform the Stony Lodge Hospital property.

The Town provided valuable feedback about the previous multifamily rental proposal and we listened. Our goal at Hudson Park Group has always been to create a beautiful and environmentally friendly design that adds a much-needed use to the Town, and we heard loud and clear the Town wanted a seniors-oriented residential community

With this goal in mind, we crafted a significantly smaller proposal for an age-restricted ownership townhome community that addresses residents’ concerns. Active adult residences maximize the benefits to the Ossining community by generating substantial new tax revenues without impacting schools. The age-restricted orientation (55+) of River Knoll will be particularly appealing to empty nesters and those who wish to downsize and seek to stay in the broader Ossining area and be near family, friends, and the community. This demographic no longer wants a large home with its many maintenance requirements and will be attracted to River Knoll where all exterior maintenance is handled by professional staff, including oversight and security. River Knoll’s numerous amenities will also have great appeal to these prospective purchasers.
