The architecture that is being proposed for River Knoll is influenced by Adirondack and Hudson Valley design vernacular. Its coloration is a mix of earth tones, and its structure will have fieldstone on foundation walls and column bases, roofs will have pronounced overhangs on the gables, and large timbers will be incorporated throughout the design. Many structures, both old and new, were studied to find the elements that combine to make our design, but in a contemporary context.
